Member dues invoices were mailed on last week to all members and included with the mailing was a copy of each member’s current EMDA Member Directory listing.
A PDF edition of the EMDA Directory has been available on the Association’s Web Site (www.EMDA.net/directory) since April of 2006 and is always updated.
Each distributor and rep member receives a full page listing in the Directory that includes: contact information; key personnel; a brief biographical profile; territory covered; and product types distributed. Each profile also indicates distribution functions are performed by each firm: Sales; Warehousing; Credit & Collections; Warranty Representation; Assembly and Manufacturing.
The Directory also includes territory and product indexes that make it easier for manufacturers to find specific EMDA members.
Associate member listings include contact information and company/product descriptions. Associate members also have the option to expand their listings for a nominal fee by adding either a logo or a half- or full-page ad.
Take a few minutes to look at your Directory listing and make sure it includes an accurate profile of your firm. Let the EMDA Staff know of any changes, and they’ll immediately be updated on the web site and included in the upcoming print edition.
Once known as the “indispensible link” between wholesalers and manufacturers, the latest edition of the EMDA Membership Directory, will continue to be the best tool available to help shortline manufacturers and other agencies locate reps and distributors of ag equipment and related products.
Send new pics! If you don’t currently have a picture in the Directory, I encourage you to submit one. Manufacturers tell me all the time how valuable a photo is – especially when they’re attending the convention for the first time.
