Obituary: Ron Panizzi

Ronald Lee Panizzi, age 80, of Haysville, loving husband, father, grandfather, retired Sales Manager, Price Brothers Equipment, and retired USD 261 Transportation support employee, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017.

Funeral service was held, February 27, at the Haysville United Methodist Church, Haysville, Kansas.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Tony & Mary Panizzi, and his grandson, Christopher Sprague.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Phyllis; daughters, Janis Doty (Tom), Haslet, TX, Shirley Rose, Wichita, Jill Black (Randy) Valley Center, Shelley Sprague (Chuck), Upland, CA, Ronda Clark, (Bret), Haysville, and Sherry Macurak, Plano, TX; sisters, Mary Grannon (Albert), Wichita, Gloria Peterson (Don), Camdenton, MO, and Teresa Brooks, Liberal, MO; grandchildren, Lindsay Bowker (Josh), Evan Sprague, Cooper Clark (Kerry), Erin Black, Philip Macurak, Tanner Black, Bailey Clark and Rachael Sprague; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Emilee and Elizabeth Bowker; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established with Haysville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Grand, Haysville, KS 67060.

Obituary: Keith Goodfellow

Harrison Keith Goodfellow, January 16, 1927 to February 14, 2017, with courage and dignity Keith passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side.

Beloved husband to Doreen Elsie (Sargent), the love of his life, married since June 29th 1945. Cherished father to Brian (Monique) Goodfellow, Linda (Ron) Dawson & Barb (late Dave) Treffrey. Adored grandfather to grandsons Tim, Michael, Sean, Derek, Chris, Kevin, Josh, Jeffrey, Justyn, only granddaughter Danielle and nine great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Born in Smiths Falls, Keith worked in the farm machinery industry with companies such as Cockshutt and the Co-op before starting United Farm Supplies in 1957 until incorporation in 1961 to what is now currently Mohawk Equipment Limited.  Mohawk Equipment has been a member of EMDA (formerly FEWA) since 1978.

Outside of work Keith’s passion was tending to his many gardens. In respecting Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
