Lessiter Media Announces Leadership Appointments

EMDA congratulates member company Lessiter Media Inc. on two recent leadership team appointments that mark an exciting new chapter for the 44-year-old niche publishing company.

Headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Lessiter Media is a family-owned business led by Chairman Frank Lessiter and President Mike Lessiter. The company recently announced the retirement of Vice President Michael Storts, who has been a valued leader for 14 years. With his departure, two notable leadership changes were shared:

🚜 Patrick Sharpe Named Chief Operating Officer

Patrick Sharpe, formerly Vice President of Marketing & Audience Development, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. A 15-year veteran of Lessiter Media, Sharpe will also continue to serve as Executive Director of the Conservation Ag Foundation, a nonprofit launched in January 2024 to further conservation and sustainability efforts in agriculture.

📊 Scott Names Joins as Vice President of Finance & Administration

New to the team is Scott Names, who steps into the role of Vice President of Finance & Administration. Scott brings a strong background in financial management, analysis, and IT operations, and holds an MBA from Marquette University. A Brookfield native, Scott’s connection to the local community runs deep.

These leadership roles join a dynamic executive team that includes Frank and Mike Lessiter, along with Michael Ellis, Kim Schmidt, Adam Wright, and Bree Greenawalt.

“Frank, the Leadership and I are confident that these appointments will provide additional vision-oriented capacity while further driving excellence in a more structured, accountable, and efficient organization,” said Mike Lessiter, President of Lessiter Media.

We at EMDA applaud Lessiter Media’s continued growth and thoughtful leadership transition. Congratulations to Patrick and Scott on their new roles—and best wishes to Michael Storts in his retirement!
